The MICHAEL  J is a full service mooring tender/ work boat that can be used for anything from setting / servicing moorings and small anchors to diving, light salvage or any other application requiring shallow draft. The MICHAEL J is 30 ft LOA and is powered by Twin Johnson 150 HP outboards allowing for speed of up to 34 knots loaded.
The MICHAEL J is equipped with a number of other tools and equipment to increase the safety and efficiency of any operation a customer may wish to undertake. Some of these include:

• Miller Blue Star welder / generator
• Oxygen/acetylene torches
• High flow, hydraulic system which can power customer equipment
• Two hydraulic winches for moving mooring/anchors
• 6” diameter roller on bow for recovering anchors at the bow
• Bow mounted Crane with winch for recovering Moorings, diving equipment or small vessels.
• Drop down landing craft type bow door for loading small vehicles and equipment.
• Heated wheelhouse
• 3 watertight compartments and full height bulwarks and doors for safety.
• WAAS/DGPS for precise positioning of anchors.
